Why should I have online ordering for my restaurant?


  • Your customers love it. Every day hundreds, maybe thousands of people in your community use their PCs and mobile phones to shop online. Now you can accept orders online too.
  • research has shown that online order tickets average more than phoned or walk in tickets. A customer who goes online to place an order for a pizza, may end up getting an appetizer and soda as well.
  • Another bonus is the email addresses you get from online customers which you may use for free email marketing promotions. This is like being able to send out coupons, door hangers and flyers for free, any time you want.
  • Online orders arrive at your fax machine, restaurant printer, or email address complete in every detail. This gives your staff more opportunity to prepare food or serve live customers.
  • Online orders are for takeout or delivery. They increase the size of your dining room to several square miles and do not use up your tables, chairs, wait staff, bus boy services, plates, flatware or other restaurant dining room or serving resources. The more takeout or delivery orders you can get, the better.

    How does it work?

    When you sign up, we will create your online menu. Your customers will be able to place orders from this menu using their PC or mobile phone browser. Their order is automatically sent to you, complete in every detail. Orders can be sent to your fax machine, email address, or web printer. The order includes the customer's name, their address, how many times they have ordered before, current order items, cost, taxes, options and special instructions. In short, everything a live staff member would normally take down over the phone, and more.

    Do I need a computer in my shop?

    No. You only need a fax machine, a web enabled printer, or an email address. We can also send a text message notifying you that an online order has been placed.

    How much will it cost to get online ordering for my restaurant?

    How do I change my online menu?

    We will update your menu and specials on request whenever you want.

    You can also make changes yourself at any time with the easy to use Control Panel, accessible with any web browser. The control panel also lets you manage your customer email list, create electronic coupons and special offers, pay your account and update your order page's appearance and operation.

    Can I accept credit card payments?

    Yes, we can set up your system to send funds directly to your Merchant Account using Authorize.Net.

    Or you can use a Paypal business account to accept credit card payments.

    Both Paypal and Authorize.net are PCI compliant and use secure servers for online payments.

    What if I already have a web site?

    Online ordering can be added to your existing web site. Your customers will click on 'Order Online Now' and be taken to your online order pages.

    Can you help me get my own website?

    Yes, we can create and host a basic website for you with a name such as www.yourpizzeria.com.

    If you want something more elaborate, we can recommend professional web developers who will design a custom website for you for a reasonable fee.

    Can I have my own restaurant's logo on my online order pages?

    Yes. Your online order page may contain one graphic logo.

    How do you handle multiple shop locations?

    Each location will have its own online ordering pages. The restaurant name and street address is always displayed at the top of the online ordering page.

    How do I get started?

    Call us at 203-230-9662 and tell us you want to get started.

    We'll gather information, such as your menu, address, phone and fax numbers, hours of operation, how your shop will receive the orders, and other basic details.

    Once we have all the details, we'll create your online ordering page. It could be up and running within a week.
